• Mark your calendars for our first ever Home Depot Kid's Night/ FANG Night!  Home Depot will be joining us with fun wood making projects for each child to make and take home.  Refreshments will be sold by our 5th & 6th grade teachers.   All students must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  Admission is free.  Door prizes will be available.  Thursday, April 23rd from 6:30-7:30pm in the MPR.

 

•  PTSA is looking for new people to join next year's board!  The 2009-2010 PTSA Board has openings, here are just a few positions that are open: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Special Events Chairperson, Fundraising Chairperson, Staff Appreciation Chairperson, etc.  Please contact PTSA at 623-445-4582 or e-mail us to find out more information.

 

• February 9-13th marks Paseo Hills PTSA's 4th annual celebration of Take Your Family To School Week.  Three events are scheduled at varying times of the day as to meet the diverse schedules of all families.  This special week is designed to connect families with their children’s school experiences and to build positive partnerships between teachers and parents.

 

• Welcome Back!  We hope your holidays were wonderful and that 2009 will be the best year ever!

 

• It's never too late to become a PTSA Member!  If you are not a member and want to show that you support PTSA, Paseo Hills and your child's education, click here for more information.

 

• Fang's Fall Festival was a super success!  Thank you to everyone who attended this year's festivities.

  • Families were welcomed with fall decorations, turning our campus into a festive setting for all to enjoy.  

  • New games were all the buzz this year along with some tried and true favorites, Cake Walk, Basketball Shoot and Pop Toss. 

  • Raffle Baskets are always a popular draw.  Some baskets that stood out were Money Tree, A Sport's Affair, Snack Attack.    

  • Most importantly, this event could not have been done without the help of all the wonderful volunteers.  Volunteers came the night before to help hang lights and flags, volunteer came early Saturday morning to decorate our campus and help set up games and food area.  Your hard work is so appreciated.   

  • PTSA thanks everyone for their support of our biggest yearly event.

 

• October is Health & Safety Month and PTSA is doing our part.  Look for Walk/Bike to School Day, a fitness FANG Night, and other safety focused events this month.

• Did you know that PTSA provides the "Rattlers Rock" license plates for the Pride Award Assemblies?  These license plates are just one of the many ways PTSA helps to support student achievement on our campus.  For more information about all of our programs and projects, click here. 

 

• Thanks to everyone who attended our first PTSA General Meeting.  This was our biggest turn out to date.  We love a crowd and were very excited to share the events for the upcoming school year.  For those of you who could not attend, we will be adding a Podcast section to our website.  You will be able to view the meeting via recorded video.  Look for the Podcast soon!!

 

• Paseo Hills PTSA has been named Outstanding Unit for Parent Involvement by Arizona PTA.  This honor is given because of our Parent Lending Library.
