Text Box: Did you walk or bike to school on January 22? If you did, you received a 100th Day of School pencil from PTSA. October 7th was the International Walk to School Day which was PTSA’s kick off healthy lifestyles. Walking or biking to school promotes fitness, encourages communication between parent and child and contributes to healthier air quality near our school and a reduction in traffic congestion aids in everyone’s safety. PTSA encourages everyone to walk or bike to school. You never know when PTSA will surprise you again!!

Text Box: Thank you to every student who participated in this year’s Reflection theme, “I can make a difference by…” PTSA received some wonderful entries. The following will be submitted to the state PTA Program: 5 entries in the Visual Arts category 2 entries in the Photography category Best of luck to the students. If their submission is chosen in the state program, their entry will go on to the National PTA Program at the end of the school year. Every student who submitted an entry will receive a participation certificate for their creative efforts. Again, thank you for these wonderful entries and we hope you look forward to next year’s Reflection’s Program.
