Text Box: We are Arizona’s PTA of the Year!!!  What an awesome accomplishment.  Thank you to all our supporters.  The beautiful trophy is hanging in the front office along the hallway leading to classrooms. We are also a National 2006-2007 Unit Achievement Award Recipient.  To put this into perspective… of the 461 PTA units all over the country, Paseo Hills PTSA was one of 5 units receiving this award that are Text Box: The first family fun night, FANG Night, is scheduled for Thursday, August 23rd from 6:30-7:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room.  Come for a fun night of BINGO with your family.  Admission is always free and refreshments will be sold by our 5th & 6th grade teachers.  Students must be accompanied by an adult to attend FANG Nights. The Welcome Back Dance for 7th & 8th graders is set for Thursday, August 30th from 5-7pm.  What a great time for catching up with your friends.  A signed permission slip and small fee are required to attend this dance.  Text Box: Welcome 2007-2008 students Text Box: What an exciting time... The start of another school year.  So many feelings…excitement, nervousness, anticipation… whatever you call those butterflies fluttering around those tummies, it is an important time that needs structure and value placed on your child’s school routine.   Please remember the importance of a well balanced breakfast and a good night’s sleep.   During these hot months, a water bottle during the day will help keep your child Text Box: hydrated. Also, start now with the routine of a quiet and well lit area for homework to be done.  Dinner time is a great time to ask your child about their day.  Get to know their routine at school and make it a priority at dinner every night to learn about their day at school.  Most of all, establish safety rules now.  Make sure your child knows how they are to get home after school and it is always a good idea to have a backup plan.  The mornings and afternoons at school are a busy time, so please allow Text Box: We are Arizona’s PTA of the YEAR!!! Text Box: A big round of applause and thanks go to our First Day Bag Stuffers: Breelyn Soderberg, Emily Geremia, Ashlynn Kellerhals, Kaelin Toncheff, Miranda Campos, Heather Walsh and Hannah Burgess.  These fabulous students took one of their last days of summer break to help PTSA stuff those first day bags that go home every year.  We couldn’t have done it with out you!
