Text Box: Fang’s Fall Festival November 17, 4-7pm Winter Break December 21 – January 7 FANG Night January 24th, 6:30pm Take Your Family To School Week February 11-15 (events to be announced) Text Box: Giving Closet opens with great success Text Box: What a wonderful day October 2 was as Paseo Hills’ families benefited from the Giving Closet.  Basic hygiene items are provided to any family of a Paseo Hills student who is in need once a month when the Giving Closet opens on the first Tuesday of each month before and after school.  Our first donation drive, during the September FANG night was also a huge success, bringing in more than 300 items to be added to the Text Box: Giving Closet.  Thank you to everyone who generously donated items.  Congratulations to the following students who won the grand prizes offered during the donation drive: Wade (2nd grade) for winning the Harkins movie tickets, Kyle (4th grade) for winning the $25 Claim Jumper gift card and Morgan (5th grade) for winning the MP3 Video Player. Your child’s work could be displayed at the school and receive recognition at the local, council, district, state and even national level. Be sure to get the rules, submission guidelines, and    deadlines that will be sent home later this month. Whatever their age,     children can make a difference — and inspire others to do the same.

Text Box: PTSA gifts a defibrillator to our school

then regain control of the rhythm.  This    particular AED is full-rescue which means it offers both defibrillation and CPR, a tool that is able to actually see what you are doing and provide feedback to help you do it well. Audio and visual prompts help you rescue with     confidence and clarity.  This AED will be    installed in the multi-purpose room and    training has been provided for Paseo Hills staff members as well as PTSA Board      Members.  A gift from ‘06-’07 PTSA Board.
Text Box: This very important piece of medical equipment is brand new to the Paseo Hills campus this year. An AED or Automatic External Defibrillator is a device used in the treatment of life-threatening disturbances of the rhythm of the heart beat which may occur as the result of a heart attack or a variety of serious injuries or illnesses.
