This adult library, opened in the spring of 2007, offers parents of Paseo Hills students a convenient place to

check out books on all types of parenting issues. Topics include ADHD, Autism, parenting a gifted child,

Love & Logic, helping with homework, behavior and discipline, bonding with stepchildren, communicating

with your teenager, nutrition, sexuality, single parenting, step parenting as well as many other parent relevant

topics.  New books are added on a continual basis.  Please stop by the Media Center to visit this new addition.

Parent Lending Library Expands

                                                                                      March 2008

We are very excited to report that our Parent Lending Library has expanded.  Thanks to a grant funded

by the Arizona PTA Parent Involvement Project, we are receiving $1,000.00 worth of new resource materials. 

Our new materials will include:

· A brand new audio book section

·   All of the adult books recommended by Trudy Ludwig, author and guest speaker from our school’s Bully          

    Prevention Program.

· A Spanish resource section

These resources join our existing collection of books that include topics such as:

· Healthy/unhealthy peer relationships

· Talking to your children about sensitive topics

· Raising a gifted child

· Dealing with sibling rivalry

· How to help your child deal with bullying

· Raising a child with disabilities

· How to be a good sports parent

And much more!
