Teacher & Staff Support
Teacher Grants
All teachers that are members of the PTSA have the opportunity to apply for a financial grant. Our small grant application is distributed to the teachers at the beginning of the year and due by September 6th. Teachers must show how these funds will benefit the students at Paseo Hills.
Classroom Supply Reimbursement
All teachers that are members of the PTSA also automatically qualify for a $50.00 classroom supply reimbursement to help reduce their out-of-pocket costs for items they purchase to help enhance their classrooms.
Copy Cats
This PTSA sponsored program coordinates volunteers to take copy requests from teachers and staff daily and return the completed work to their mailbox. If you are interested in becoming a Copy Cat, please fill out the Volunteer Form or call (623) 445-4582. No experience necessary and can meet the need of your personal schedule.
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week
PTSA celebrates National Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week every May with several displays of appreciation. Lunches, doughnuts, school spirit items, are just some of the ways we try to show our staff how much they are valued and how much we appreciate their dedication to our children.
Conference Week Dinners
During parent/teacher conferences every October and March, PTSA organizes a potluck dinner for the teachers and staff of Paseo Hills. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the Volunteer Form. It is through volunteer effort that home-cooked dishes are prepared for the staff to enjoy during their late night of conferences.
Volunteer Coordinating
Our Volunteer Coordinator compiles all of the information collected from the Volunteer Forms sent out at the beginning of the school. This information is distributed to the staff and is used to coordinate volunteers for the many school events that happen all year long. Please fill out the Volunteer Form and return it to school with your child if you would like to volunteer. Becoming a PTSA member does not mean you are signing up to volunteer. The only way we call you to volunteer is if you fill out and turn in a Volunteer Form.
